LOGANVILLE, Ga. — A driver was cited in a crash that sent him and another person to a hospital with injuries.

The crash between Loganville and Walnut Grove blocked Center Hill Church Road for several hours Friday night.

State troopers said a 2011 Mazda 2 traveling west on Center Hill Church Road tried to turn left onto Country Lane and collided with an eastbound 2015 GMC truck.

Tyler Hogan, 19, of Loganville, was driving the Mazda and was cited with failing to yield. He and a passenger, who was not identified, were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with what were described as critical injuries.

Terry Nash, 63, also of Loganville, was driving the GMC. He and a passenger were hurt but refused transport to the hospital.
