Broun advocates return to traditional values during town hall

Calls for giving more states rights

LOGANVILLE — With only days to go before the Nov. 6 election, Rep. Paul Broun, R-Athens, has less to worry about than most on the ballot.

Broun is running unopposed for re-election to the 10th congressional district, so he didn’t bother to make any last-second sales pitches for his own campaign at his appearance Thursday night before the Walton County Tea Party Patriots at First Baptist Church of Loganville.

I watched "Inherit the Wind" last night. The movie was made in 1960 about a trial that happened in 1925 and we are still fighting over the same thing in 2012.

I see Broun gets his American history from the discredited David Barton...but this quote, "we are being destroyed by a lack of knowledge" just made the word irony laugh out loud.

He's saying some good things but then again, so did Rob Woodall.
