MONROE — LR Burger, the fast casual restaurant coming to 202 E. Spring St., will receive a low interest loan from the Georgia Cities Foundation and Department of Community Affairs to aid in its remodel of the old gas station.

They will get two loans of $189,000 to help finance the $920,000 build-out. The Monroe City Council likely will give its endorsement to the project, which will allow the LR Burger team to accept the loans.
