Arrival of flu season drives need for flu shots

The winter weather may have inspired a lot of Christmas carols in recent days, but it’s also summoned forth a chorus of coughing and sneezing as cold and flu season arrives with the Yuletide.

In between all that dashing around to catch up on last-second Christmas shopping, then, physicians like Dr. Suji Mathew are encouraging people to make another stop and take the time to get a flu shot to protect against the viral disease as best as possible.
