Nixon cited, sued over unlicensed rehab center

Walton County officials, neighbors take issue with former Atlanta Brave

Posted: Sunday, October 7, 2012 12:00 am

Attributing among a variety of things the numerous complaints from nearby residents, a citation has been issued to former Atlanta Brave Otis Nixon for illegally running a rehabilitation facility on Dally Road outside Jersey for those recently released from prison.

Walton County Planning and Development Department officials were in the process last week of tracking down Nixon to serve him with the citation, which will require him to appear in magistrate court. He denies running a rehab center on the property.
