Kemp appoints local people to state boards

3 Monroe residents added to government panels

ATLANTA — Gov. Brian Kemp has given some state boards a Walton County representation. He appointed Monroe residents to three in the past few weeks.

Roy Roberts Sr. was reappointed to the Stone Mountain Memorial Association. Roberts, the longtime chairman of the Walton County Republican Party, lives in Monroe. He was reappointed with Caroline Meadows, while the Rev. Abraham Moseley, a Baptist pastor from Athens, was appointed.
