Law enforcement officials talk public safety at chamber event

GOHS director serves as speaker

MONROE — The Walton County Chamber of Commerce received an update on public safety in the area after hearing from law enforcement officials around the county.

As part of the chamber’s monthly membership luncheon, the crowd listened to comments on road safety, crime statistics and gun control from two police chiefs, the county sheriff and even a member of Gov. Nathan Deal’s staff.
