Angel Food Ministries leaders plead guilty

Wingos, Michaels accept deal in federal court Monday

The founders of Angel Food Ministries admitted they bilked the Monroe-based company out of millions of dollars in federal court Monday.

Pastors Joe and Linda Wingo and their son Andy will be sentenced May 29, in Macon for committing crimes that destroyed the once-proud Monroe-based company designed to help the needy through the sale of low-cost food boxes.
