Walnut Grove State grant will help pave Park Street

City will receive up to $100,000 in assistance

WALNUT GROVE — The state will pay the bulk of the cost to patch and repave the road between Walnut Grove High School and Georgia 81.

Local grants administrator Terry L. Gable of the Georgia Department of Transportation notified Mayor Lamar Lee last month the city could expect up to $100,000 for the Park Street project.
