Hyde named Support Person of the Year

Monroe native Tammy Hyde gives back to local community in technology office

Posted: Saturday, November 25, 2017 12:00 am

Tammy Hyde loves to crunch numbers. An information analyst with the Walton County School District, Hyde, working out of the central office, does near countless tasks with the local school system’s data — managing student records, reporting enrollment numbers to the state, managing the district’s information networks, running the district’s technology help desk for staff issues and much more.

“I love working with data,” Hyde said. “No two days are the same. I can assist, on any given day, a lunch worker with trouble getting their email to a parent looking for their child’s grades. I just love what I do.”
