Monroe Council denies worker's claim

Employee claims discrimination on basis of race, FMLA

MONROE, Ga. — The City Council found no basis for an employee’s claims of racial discrimination when she didn’t get a promotion.

Alicia Goolsby said she thought she was being discriminated against by Finance Director Beth Thompson in being denied the position of senior customer service representative.
