County school board offers $116.7M budget with rate cut

Board going along with 2 percent pay raise

MONROE — The budget is up and the millage rate down as the Walton County Board of Education took a first look at the proposed $116.7 million budget.

The Walton County School District saw the budget surge from $109.3 million last year to the proposed budget for the 2018 fiscal year, an increase of more than 6 percent.
