Georgia Army National Guard Local Guard unit going to Europe

Monroe-based unit goes to the Republic of Georgia

MONROE, Ga. — The Monroe-based National Guard military police company was scheduled to fly out of Georgia for overseas training Tuesday.

Agile Spirit 2019, a joint multinational, military exercise, brings together 3,300 military personnel from 14 allied nations. Some of the countries involved include the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the host country, Georgia.
