WALNUT GROVE — Mayor Lamar Lee sits in a cramped little office with a vision. It is one he has had for half of his political career representing the people of Walnut Grove.

Final approval is expected this week from the state for approval for the city’s joint venture with the county in building a 100,000 gallon sewer system.

never in the small office. Don Cannon was the driving force for the sewer system as well as the library and the parkway. Lets give credit where it is due. The new mayor has done nothing' Oh I forgot, he did away with the planning and zoning and the city marshal. He stated to cut costs but since has hired more as well as extended the hours for some. Really saving money. Lets bring Don Cannon back next election.
