SSA off to a fast start in first week

A local focus for dropout prevention group

The Student Success Alliance has only borne that name since Monday, when it officially became a fully local organization after years as a local affiliate of the national Communities In Schools.

But Angela Yarman, executive director of the newly dubbed SSA, said they’ve the ground running, with their most important task in these summer days just spreading the word about the name change.
