Georgia General Assembly Kirby defends his record

Ranks fifth for missed votes, but says he made big ones

Rep. Tom Kirby says a report that hangs one of the worst voting records in the legislature on him is misleading.

AllOnGeorgia, an online news organization, examined voting records for members of the state House. It found Kirby, a Republican from Loganville, skipped 44 votes — 11.22% of all votes taken by the House.
