After the meeting, gathered by council members and citizens alike, Loganville Mayor Ray Nunley made one thing clear: he has no intention of backing down from either his bout with lung cancer or his responsibilities to the city.

"I am planning on going full steam ahead and as long as the citizens will have me, I will serve as mayor of this great town," Nunley said. "I have never been scared of anything and I know I will get through this."
