Local police seek to teach pupils about online dangers

From a young age, children are taught a variety of tactics in navigating everyday life and social interactions on a variety of levels.

Imperatives like “Don’t talk to strangers” and “Don’t take candy from the man in the unmarked van” are pounded into kids’ heads as early as possible in order to keep them safe when they go out into the world.

  • 2 Don't Threaten. Threats of harming another person will not be tolerated.

  • 4 Be Nice. No racism, sexism or any sort of -ism that is degrading to another person.
