Planning Commission votes to accept withdrawal

MONROE, Ga. — Several weeks of zoning controversy ended in less than 10 minutes Thursday night, but neighbors say they’re not convinced.

The controversial plan to put a dirt borrow pit ended when the Walton County Planning Commission voted unanimously to accept the withdrawal of a zoning change request and land use amendment proposal.
