MONROE — Besse Cooper says she doesn't have a secret to living, but at 108 years old, she must be doing something right.

"I don't know if I have a secret," Cooper said sitting in the courtyard of the Walton Regional Medical Center nursing home. "I think it's the Lord's doing more than anything I've ever done. He must be keeping me here for a reason."
