State couldn't prove Whited was there for Dinah's injuries

MONROE, Ga. — In the end, the state said it couldn’t prove Jamie Whited was there when her husband caused the injuries that led to their infant daughter’s death.

But she was neligent. Whited admitted that and pleaded guilty Wednesday afternoon to second-degree cruelty to children, five days before she was to go on trial for murder in the 2016 death of Dinah Paige Whited.
