‘Father of the Bride’ comes to On Stage

Play stands on its own from movie versions

When asking if someone has seen the seminal work, “Father of the Bride,” there remains some necessary clarification to truly assess a person’s answer.

After all, a simple yes isn’t enough when the title can equally apply to the 1951 film starring Spencer Tracy or the 1991 movie starring Steve Martin.
