Walton County Board of Commissioners County kills insurance bill

Benefit for former commissioners pulled from agenda

MONROE, Ga. — County leaders have pulled a bill that would let former commissioners keep buying health insurance plans for themselves and their families.

A called meeting of the Walton County Board of Commissioners has been set for 6 p.m. Monday to hear public comment on the issue.
