MONROE — The streets were filled with excitement Thursday afternoon with residents from all ages welcoming home a native son from country music duo Florida Georgia Line.

Film crews were walking the streets of downtown Monroe with the band — comprised of Monroe native Tyler Hubbard and Floridian Brian Kelley — as they filmed a music video for the track “Round Here,” the third song they have recorded a video for from their CD “Here’s to the Good Time.”
