Walton County Superior Court George seeks new trial

Retired educator convicted of molestation in 2018

MONROE, Ga. — Retired Walton County educator Bill George will be back in the courtroom on Wednesday as his legal team argues for a new trial.

A jury convicted George of child molestation and sexual battery last June, and Alcovy Circuit Superior Court Judge Eugene Benton sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
