Bettye Huff Farmer, 89, of Monroe, died Monday, April 8, 2019.

She was born in Walton County on Feb. 3, 1930, to Luther M. and Ida Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Alonzo K. Farmer Sr.

She is survived by her brother, Luther M. Huff Jr., of Monroe; nieces, Marcia Huff Baxter, of Marietta, and Mary Huff Knotts, of Monroe; great nieces: Ashley Knotts, of Brooklyn, New York, Sarah Quatela, of Suwanee, and Alexandria “Ali” Knotts, of Monroe; stepson, Kelly Farmer Jr., and his wife, Holly Farmer; and step-grandchildren: Lee Farmer and Jennifer Farmer.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were Friday, April 12, in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Willis officiating.

Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery.
