Kenneson: Making sense of Walton’s opioid numbers

Posted: Wednesday, July 31, 2019 12:00 am

There were a lot of opioid pills shipped to Walton County between 2006-2012, as our story from last week, based on data from a Washington Post investigation, showed. Forty-six for everyone in the county, to be exact, or 26 million in all.

And it probably went up from there, since overdose deaths kept rising too.
