Posted: Saturday, September 7, 2019 12:00 am

The recent second mass shooting in Texas in less than a month left seven dead and 22 wounded, including three law enforcement officers.

It occurred outside the city of Odessa. The suspect had been fired from his job only hours before he began his rampage beginning with a routine traffic stop and using an AR-type weapon. President Donald Trump described the shooter as “another sick person.” He further labeled the shooting as a “mental problem.”
