Class of 2017 draws to its end

Posted: Saturday, May 27, 2017 12:00 am

We have reached the end of another successful school year in WCSD and I want to thank our students, teachers, administrators and staff members for their hard work this year. In partnership with our families and community, we continue to help our students achieve at the highest levels. I also want to congratulate our 900 graduates on the completion of their high school careers. We are extremely proud of these students and all of their accomplishments.

In our continued effort to provide WCSD students with the best education we can afford, we are diligently working to finalize the FY18 budget. While many school districts across the state still face financial hardships, the Walton County Board of Education has maintained sound fiscal management allowing us to continually provide exceptional educational opportunities for our students.
