Wrestling: On to sectionals

Over 50 local wrestlers qualify for sectional meets

Posted: Tuesday, February 4, 2020 2:37 pm | Updated: 2:40 pm, Tue Feb 4, 2020.

Bring 10, qualify 10. That’s just what George Walton Academy did Saturday at the Area 6-A traditional meet at Commerce High School.

After missing out on a berth in the state duals tournament, GWA is looking to send a record number of wrestlers to the traditional tournament next weekend as well as improving upon a fifth-place finish as team in the state traditional tournament.
