We thank LCA for its assistance

The Georgia High School Association schools in the county get the lion’s share of sports publicity in the county. But we would be remiss to shortchange Loganville Christian Academy at any point.

The Lions have just captured their eighth straight boys basketball title. They won the state football championship and are more than competitive in virtually every sport. I’m not going to try and tell you the athletes in the Independent Christian Association of Georgia-Alabama or even the Georgia Independent School Association rival those of the public school system. The Lions seldom go up against a quality student-athlete in the sports arena. On the other hand, Lions teams are exactly chock full of players who could compete at a higher level. Yet, the LCA coaches get the most out of what they have to work with and that’s all any coach can ask for.
