Loganville Christian: Lots of new twists for Lions in ’19

Posted: Wednesday, August 21, 2019 12:58 pm | Updated: 1:10 pm, Wed Aug 21, 2019.

Everything about the Loganville Christian Academy football program will be new this season: new head coach and staff, new offensive and defensive strategies and perhaps most importantly, a renewed sense of anticipation by the Lions’ faithful for great things to happen on the gridiron.

Patrick Stewart was named the Lions head coach on Feb. 15 and the George Walton Academy graduate brings a wealth of experience from the playing field and on the sidelines to the Lions program. Stewart played college football at Middle Tennessee State University and upon graduation spent two seasons just down the road coaching at George Walton Academy.
