Mrs. Nellie Mackie Barrow
Mrs. Nellie Mackie Barrow, 71, of Oxford, Ga., died Monday, May 2, 2005.
She was born on April 24, 1934 to the late Earl and Frankie Jessie Fry Julian.
She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church for 30 years. She worked at Publix for eight years and Winn-Dixie for 12 years. Mrs. Barrow loved to cook and had a ceramic business and also enjoyed it as a hobby.
Mrs. Barrow is preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Merle Virgile Barrow.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Chere and Duane Nelson, Sumter, S.C.; Ms. Maria Elaine Barrow, Oxford; Carol and Randy Dearing, Walnut Grove; Melody and Rickey Lunsford, Covington; Miss Jessica Barrow, Oxford; sister and brother-in-law: Edna and Allen Six, Lancaster, Calif.; brother and sisters-in-law: Frank and Thelma Julian, Ocala, Fla; Donald and Gloria Julian, Valico Fla; Joe and Peggy Julian, Tampa, Fla; seven grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Heil officiating.
Wheeler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
