Penny, a Boston terrier/cocker spaniel mix, rounded out the family of Tribune Publisher David Clemons and his wife, Carla. Penny died Friday afternoon, Nov. 27, 2020, at age 17.

David Clemons is the editor and publisher of The Walton Tribune. He lives in Monroe and previously served as the publisher of the Covington News and the Fort Payne, Alabama, Times-Journal.
