Any way you slice it, this has been a rough week for law enforcement officers — especially in Georgia.

In Walton County, it would be hard to come across someone who does not know or has not benefited from the impact Cindy Little has had in this community.

While the political battle over global warming and environmental issues doesn’t seem likely to die down any time soon, it’s hard to find a good argument against finding greener sources of energy than non-renewable coal and oil.

Take a drive down any of the state’s major highways during peak travel times and it’s easy to see that one of the most vital issues facing Georgia in the future is transportation.
